MARINE CLAIMS & INCIDENT INVESTIGATION
TSM Marine are able to attend worldwide, to carry out evidence gathering, manage the situation, protecting/representing client’s interests, establish nature and extent of damage, provide detailed reports, which can be understood by technical and non-technical people alike. Typical cases are: Crane failure, main and generator engine damage, hatch cover failure, fire, turbo-charger failure, personal injury, engine room flooding, pollution.
HULL & MACHINERY (H&M)
We can attend repair facilities to help lessen losses, streamline costs, monitor repairs and after repair completion review costs to confirm they are fair and reasonable. We are able to attend bunker disputes, whether it be on-board or witness joint sampling/analysis. Typical cases are: Flooding, fire, collision, grounding, main and generator failure, steering gear/rudder incidents.
SURVEYS, INSPECTIONS & AUDITS
Fully compliant with internationally recognised governing bodies, TSM Marine carry out a range of surveys and audits on behalf of P&I Clubs, Owners, Marine Lawyers/Attorneys, which include but are not limited to: Environmental Audits (ISO 14001), Loss Prevention Surveys, Pre-purchase Surveys, Delivery and Re-delivery Surveys, to provide clients with a service in their best interests.
EXPERT WITNESS & OPINION
Having previously given evidence, both orally and written in both UK and US jurisdictions, and having taken internationally-recognised courses in giving evidence both written and oral, TSM Marine are able to provide expert witness reports and opinions for court proceedings in varying jurisdictions. Our detailed reports are understandable and easily read by both lay and non-lay people alike. Typical cases are: machinery failures, speed & performance claims, crane failures and charter party disputes.
